Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Atlas Salus collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In this policy, “Atlas Salus,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Atlas Salus service. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@atlassalus.com.

A separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy accompanies this notice and covers the health-related information we handle; it is linked from the homepage and controls where the two overlap.

1. Who we are

Atlas Salus is a non-clinical healthcare navigation and coordination service. We help patients in the United States understand their options, their costs, and what to expect before a major treatment in Monterrey, Mexico. Atlas Salus does not provide medical or dental care. Our designated channel for privacy requests (access, correction, deletion, and withdrawal of consent) is contact@atlassalus.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Atlas Salus website and the enquiry form on it. It does not cover any treatment relationship you may later form with a clinic, dentist, or physician. Those providers are independent and handle your clinical information under their own policies and under Mexican law.

3. What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect only:

First and last name
Email address
Phone number
Your US state of residence
The type of care you are asking about (dental, or a short free-text description if you select “other”)
Your preferred contact method (email or phone)
An optional free-text message, limited to 600 characters

We also process your IP address and a Cloudflare Turnstile token for the sole purpose of blocking automated spam submissions.

4. What we do not collect through this form

We do not collect, request, or store medical records, clinical histories, diagnoses, images, or file attachments through the public enquiry form — it has no upload capability and no clinical fields. When documents are genuinely needed later in a case, they are handled through a separate secure channel, never through the public form, ordinary email, or a general-purpose CRM.

5. Consumer health data (Washington, Nevada, and nationwide)

Atlas Salus treats the information you give us about the type of care you are seeking as consumer health data, and applies that standard nationwide. The Washington My Health My Data Act defines the term to include information identifying that a consumer is seeking health care services — no diagnosis, record, or HIPAA relationship required — and Nevada’s regime is materially similar. We do not treat their application as an open question.

We collect the type of care only because it is necessary to provide the coordination service you asked us for, and for no other purpose. We do not use it for advertising, retargeting, audience building, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it. Our analytics never receive it: page paths that would reveal which treatment you were reading about are redacted before they leave your browser, visitor IP is stripped, and session recording and autocapture are disabled. 6. How we use your information

We use what you submit to respond to your enquiry, to answer questions about options and costs, and — if you choose to continue — to coordinate scheduling and travel with providers on your behalf. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. Where we rely on your consent (for example, to share your information with a specific provider), we ask for that consent separately and clearly, not bundled inside a general acceptance of these Terms, and you may withdraw it at any time.

We share your information only as needed to provide the service you asked for, and each processor receives only the minimum necessary for its function:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

8. International transfer

Atlas Salus coordinates care in Mexico. Information you submit will be accessed from Mexico and shared with providers in Mexico in order to arrange the care you ask about. The Mexican provider handles your clinical information under Mexican law, including Mexico’s data-protection framework (LFPDPPP).

9. Retention and deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the coordination service you asked for and to meet a limited follow-up and record-keeping period, after which we delete or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 10); when you do, we act on your request and pass it to the processors listed above, except where we must retain specific data to meet a legal obligation, which we will tell you about.

10. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

To exercise any right, write to contact@atlassalus.com through our single privacy intake channel. We will verify your identity in a way proportionate to the request, respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires, and propagate any deletion to our processors.

If you submit the form, you are asking us to contact you about your enquiry, and you choose how — by email or by phone. That is separate from agreeing to receive marketing, and we treat the two separately: any marketing or automated communications would require your own, separate, specific consent. We do not contact enquirers over WhatsApp or any other messaging service.

12. Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising cookies and carries no advertising pixels — no Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok tags of any kind. If analytics are enabled, they run under deliberate constraints so they cannot become a health record: no cookies, no autocapture, no session recording, visitor IP stripped, care-path page routes redacted before leaving the browser, and no capture of any field value or button text. What is measured is that a visit happened and whether the form was started and submitted.

13. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

14. Security

Submissions travel over TLS and are handled by the processors listed above, each under terms appropriate to the data they handle. When health documents are needed, they use a separate secure channel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

15. Changes

We will post any revised version on this page with a new effective date.
