Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Atlas Salus website and the coordination service described on it. By using this website or submitting the enquiry form, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

In these Terms, “Atlas Salus,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Atlas Salus service. You may contact us at any time at contact@atlassalus.com.

1. What Atlas Salus is — and is not

Atlas Salus is a non-clinical healthcare navigation and coordination service. We help patients in the United States understand their options, their costs, and what to expect before a major treatment in Monterrey, Mexico, and we coordinate providers, travel and scheduling on their behalf.

Atlas Salus does not provide medical or dental care. We are not a clinic, a hospital, a dental practice, an insurer, or a licensed healthcare provider of any kind, and we do not practice medicine or dentistry. All diagnosis, candidacy, treatment, medical necessity, informed consent, discharge, fitness-to-travel and clinical follow-up decisions are made exclusively by the independent, licensed treating clinician.

2. Nothing here is medical advice

Everything on this website — including any description of procedures, recovery timelines, or costs — is general information. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional about your own situation. Do not delay seeking care because of something you read here. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. Atlas Salus is not an emergency service.

3. The relationships — three separate agreements

Your journey involves three legally distinct relationships, and we keep them separate on purpose:

You and Atlas Salus — a non-clinical navigation and coordination relationship, governed by these Terms and by the Atlas Salus coordination agreement you accept before we begin.
You and the treating provider — an independent clinical relationship. The Mexican provider sets and collects its own clinical charges, obtains its own informed consent, and is solely responsible for the care it delivers, its clinical judgment, its licensure, and its outcomes, under Mexican law.
Atlas Salus and the provider — a commercial coordination relationship in which the provider remains fully independent and retains all clinical control.

Atlas Salus never appears as the provider, clinical supervisor, guarantor of any outcome, prescriber, or medical decision-maker.

4. Our fee, and how payment works

Atlas Salus charges a fixed coordination fee, disclosed to you in advance and in US dollars before you decide to proceed. You pay the treating provider directly for your clinical care; Atlas Salus does not set, collect, or remit the provider’s clinical charges.

Atlas Salus does not receive from any provider a referral commission, a percentage of treatment value, a split fee, or any payment that depends on whether you proceed with treatment. Because our fee does not depend on the provider you choose or the treatment you receive, our coordination is not financially skewed toward any particular provider. If this ever changes, we will disclose any provider financial relationship to you clearly.

5. Estimates and costs

Any figure shown on this site is an estimate with a declared scope — what it includes and what it excludes. Estimates are not quotes, not binding, and not a guarantee of what you will ultimately pay. Final pricing comes from the treating provider after clinical assessment, and can change once a clinician examines you in person.

6. Our verification is limited — not accreditation

Before a referral, Atlas Salus performs limited, risk-proportionate verification of a candidate provider (for example, confirming a clinician’s license where obtainable). This verification is not an accreditation, an endorsement, or a guarantee of the provider’s competence, safety, or outcomes, and it does not make Atlas Salus responsible for the provider’s clinical judgment. We organize information the provider supplies; we do not independently validate clinical decisions.

7. Eligibility and what we ask of you

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the enquiry form. Give us accurate information, and do not send clinical records, images, or sensitive medical detail through the public enquiry form — it is not built to receive them, and a secure channel is used for documents when needed. Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it or submit automated traffic.

If you submit the form, you are asking us to contact you about your enquiry, and you choose whether by email or by phone. Agreeing to be contacted about your enquiry is separate from agreeing to receive marketing; any marketing communications would require your separate, specific consent. We do not contact enquirers over WhatsApp or other messaging services. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

9. Intellectual property

The content, design and copy of this site belong to Atlas Salus. You may read and share it; you may not republish it commercially without permission.

10. Disclaimers and clinical responsibility

The site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current. We make no warranty of any kind regarding clinical outcomes, which are entirely a matter between you and your treating provider.

Atlas Salus does not assume responsibility for an independent provider’s diagnosis, candidacy determination, treatment selection, informed consent, procedure, medication, anesthesia, clinical monitoring, discharge decision, clinical follow-up, or clinical outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit, including liability arising from our own conduct where that liability cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to Section 10, Atlas Salus is not liable for the independent clinical acts, omissions, or outcomes of any provider. For our own ordinary contractual or economic liability, any limitation applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law and does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, personal-injury or statutory consumer claims that cannot lawfully be capped, or to any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Atlas Salus only for claims arising from your own unlawful use of the service, fraud, intentional misrepresentation, or infringement. You are not required to indemnify us for provider negligence, treatment complications, bodily injury, our own negligence, privacy violations, or any duty that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and the Atlas Salus coordination relationship are governed by the law of the United States jurisdiction in which Atlas Salus operates, while expressly preserving the mandatory federal and home-state consumer protections that cannot be waived. Your separate clinical agreement with the Mexican provider is governed by Mexican law and the law applicable to care delivered in Mexico.

Any dispute between you and Atlas Salus arising from these Terms or our coordination service will be resolved by individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by AAA or JAMS under their consumer arbitration rules, by remote hearing or at a reasonably accessible US venue, with consumer-appropriate fee allocation. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by writing to contact@atlassalus.com. Small claims are carved out and may be brought in small-claims court. To the extent enforceable, disputes are brought individually and not as a class or representative action. Nothing in this section waives any substantive right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, and this arbitration provision does not apply where applicable law makes it unenforceable.

14. Changes

We will post any revised version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
