Before you decide

What a treatment quote should include.

A number by itself is how people get misled. A good quote declares its scope — so you can compare the full episode, not a headline price.

The checklist

What a transparent quote lets you see, in writing.

Useful even if you never work with us — which is exactly why it’s worth keeping. Take it to any provider.
  • Who you pay, and for what — professional fee, facility fee, anesthesia, diagnostics
  • Materials and devices, where relevant (implant system, prosthetic material)
  • What’s included versus excluded — medications, follow-up, revision policy
  • Timeline and number of visits — one trip or two changes the real cost
  • Payment schedule — deposits, when each amount is due, and to whom
  • What is NOT included — spelled out, not left to assumption

Procedure price vs. episode cost

The one distinction that changes the decision.

Broker listings lead with a single “from $X.” The real question is the total cost of the whole episode. Here is the structure that number should break into — figures come from the provider’s plan, but every line should be declared.
  • Professional fee
The clinician’s fee for the procedure itself.
  • Facility / hospital fee
Use of the operating room, clinic or hospital, and the tier of that facility.
  • Anesthesia
When applicable — often billed separately from the procedure.
  • Diagnostics and imaging
Pre-procedure workup, labs and imaging the plan depends on.
  • Materials and devices
Implants, hardware or prosthetic materials, named where they matter.
  • Follow-up and revision policy
What follow-up is included, and what happens if something needs revision.
  • Travel and stay
Flights, transport, accommodation and the number of days on the ground.
  • Atlas coordination fee Our fee, in the open
What we are paid, stated in the open on the same page as everything else.

Good practice, not a universal legal rule

These are the marks of a transparent quote — not universal legal requirements. Providers and jurisdictions differ. The point is that a quote which declares its scope lets you make a real comparison; one that hides it doesn’t.

What Atlas does

We help you read a quote line by line and see the full episode before you decide. We don’t set clinical prices and we don’t tell you what treatment to have — we make the number legible.
